Project 365-2: September 2018

So, here we go again. After a break of nearly three years, I’m starting a new “365 project”, i.e., taking at least one photo per day and publishing exactly one photo. My first 365 project I had to cancel about one month short of finishing it due to time constraints (I was working on my dissertation back then). After ending that project, I used my camera only occasionally. Regarding the time constraints, things have changed for the better a little. So I decided to start another 365 project in order to force myself to recover my proficiency in photography.

A general motto of the project will be to use one lens, mostly a prime lens, exclusively for a whole month. I’m starting with the Fujinon XF35/f1.4, which was one of the first lenses I bought back in 2014. The 35 mm focal length is almost equivalent to 55 mm in full frame terms, meaning it is the traditional standard focal length.

Take a look at my results for September 2018, the first month of my 365 project:

  • Aperture: ƒ/11
  • Camera: X-T1
  • Taken: 1 September, 2018
  • Focal length: 35mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/550s
