Furniture assembly

The assembly of IKEA furniture always reminds me of the good old days of Legos. While helping a friend with his new furniture, I took some picture using the XF 56 f/1.2 lens.

In the vineyard

During a walk in the vineyards around Trier, I took some photos using my Fujifilm XF 50-140 on my X-T1.

Frankfurt at night

Despite not quite qualifying as world metropolis, Frankfurt is a vibrant city. The Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage is one of the most frequented streets in the city. The fair is located there, among other prominent buidlings.

All photos were taken using my Fujifilm X-T1 and the XF 10-24 lens.

Paris with three primes (Part 4)

The final post about my weekend in Paris shows some pictures of and from the Eiffel Tower.

During the stay, I used my Fujifilm X-T1 together with the superb XF 14 f/2.8, the XF 35 f/1.4 and for some fun the 8 mm Samyang Fisheye.

Paris with three primes (Part 3)

This is the third of four posts about my stay in Paris. This post is about some night shots.

During the stay, I used my Fujifilm X-T1 together with the superb XF 14 f/2.8, the XF 35 f/1.4 and for some fun the 8 mm Samyang Fisheye.

Paris with three primes (Part 2)

This is the second of four posts about my stay in Paris. This time, we visited Sacré-Cœur and Opéra Garnier.

During the stay, I used my Fujifilm X-T1 together with the superb XF 14 f/2.8, the XF 35 f/1.4 and for some fun the 8 mm Samyang Fisheye.

Paris with three primes (Part 1)

Around Valentine’s Day, I went to Paris together with my partner. On the first and second day, we unfortunately had some rain. During almost all the time (two and a half days) we walked around, visited some sights and I took the opportunity to take some pictures.

During the stay, I used my Fujifilm X-T1 together with the superb XF 14 f/2.8, the XF 35 f/1.4 and for some fun the 8 mm Samyang Fisheye.

Moselle riverside 2

La Moselle

After a few rainy days, today was warm and sunny. The perfect excuse to take a walk on the beautiful Moselle riverside in Trier.

The photos were taken with the Fujifilm X-T1 using the XF 23 lens and the Classic Chrome film simulation.

Street photography with the XF 56

Addmittedly, an X-T1 and XF 56 combo isn’t quite as unobtrusive as an X100(S/T) would be. But the short telephoto length together with its speed at f/1.2 allows for some interesting shots. Yesterday, I took this combo out in Frankfurt. I used the great profile configuration suggested by Marco Larousse at We Shoot Fuji.
